Rainforest in a Classroom

Students from Mark Keppel Elementary School in Glendale, California created a rainforest in a classroom. The students dressed in costumes to become part of this forest. Below are a few photos from this fascinating project.

We, the Chebobniv Kids from Mark Keppel Elementary School in Glendale, California care about the rainforests!! The rainforests give us a good supply of oxygen, rubber, foods like fruits, coffee, chocolate, and honey, medicine, and beauty. There are many cute animals that live in the rainforests. If we don't care for the rainforests, the animals will die and may become extinct. They have feelings just like we do. If we lose the rainforest, we may lose other things due to global warming and the melting of the polar region. We shouldn't support places that abuse rainforest products or kill rainforest animals. We want to help keep the rainforests safe for our children and their children's children. We hope that you will pass on our words and concerns to others.
